Wow! Bibi was amazing on Saturday. Take 8 women, add some African, Caribbean & African Island music – from Nigeria, Central Africa, Cuba, Trinidad & Tobago, Gaudaloupe, Seychelles and what a magic afternoon we had - all in barefeet, sarongs and hot despite the aircon. What a thrill to be the student again and for two hours to feel the raw rhythms of samba, sega, kumba and other dances of which I cannot remember the names. Fabulous! And we will be having a HUGE African Dance workshop early 2012, with live drummers, and open to young and old, women and men, Let us know if you want to be informed of the event.
