Had such a fantastic rehearsal on Saturday – we will have 42 women dancing (and the studio now at about 150 students in total) – it was SO exciting with all our DDs coming in and out with costumes, hats, heels, bling and more than a little stress. For some the first time on a dance floor in front of people – so between the stress of a new environment, strange floor and many new faces, it was no surprise that the first run throughs included some interesting self-made choreographies. All part of the fun! Esther and I were chuffed as anything with our dancers – made us realise all over again why we dance and why we do what we do. Dance with heart. Such a joy to see people helping each other with the routines, finding pins, clapping loudly for the other groups. What a pleasure!
